10 unmissable shows at the Edinburgh festival

A secret encounter takes place in a public cafĂ©. It explores surveillance and racial profiling in the so-called war on terror. Jarideh is both a playful and an alarming mission performed by both the artist and the audience member. The piece employs London police’s tactics, spy cinema aesthetics, and stories of Lebanese female resistance fighters in order to expose how security is defined through fear and difference.
