La danaide

Installation performance set in an artist’s studio.

Inspired by the tumultuous relationship between artists Rodin and Camille Claudel, La Danaide explores the impact of ‘posing’ on both the artist’s model and the actor’s body. 

 

 

Created in an old church in Beirut once used as a military base during the Lebanese civil war.

Adapted for an artists studio, Hackney wick (London).
